00:00:00.666 --> 00:00:06.800
I am going to show you how a cardholder can set up account alerts.

00:00:06.800 --> 00:00:10.766
Open the Profile menu and select Notifications,

00:00:10.766 --> 00:00:13.866
And then Account alerts.

00:00:13.866 --> 00:00:20.766
Type your e-mail address for the alerts, and a mobile number if you want to receive text alerts.

00:00:20.766 --> 00:00:25.900
If you have more than one account, select the account from the list.

00:00:25.900 --> 00:00:31.100
Choose a preferred output language, either American English or Canadian French.

00:00:31.100 --> 00:00:39.566
And then select from the different alert types. Fraud alerts let you know if there's suspected fraud in your account. You can choose either an

00:00:39.566 --> 00:00:45.233
e-mail or text alert or both. Text alerts are two way alerts, which means you can answer

00:00:45.233 --> 00:00:51.000
back and saying whether not that was really you trying to make the charge.

00:00:51.000 --> 00:00:59.733
The event alerts let you know when a card is activated, requested, credit limit is changed, a daily account balance, when payment is made,

00:00:59.733 --> 00:01:03.633
when personal information is changed, or a PIN on a card has changed.

00:01:03.633 --> 00:01:11.566
And there are quite a few purchase alerts to choose from. Just scroll down and select the ones that you want.

00:01:11.566 --> 00:01:19.900
When you're done selecting them, open and read the privacy policy. Open andn read the terms and conditions and select the button to

00:01:19.900 --> 00:01:25.500
agree to the terms and conditions agreement, and click Submit.

00:01:25.500 --> 00:01:33.866
For text alerts, you'll be sent a message that needs to be confirmed within 72 hours. Fraud text alerts are sent as they are triggered.

00:01:33.866 --> 00:01:43.632
Event and purchase alerts are sent between 8 am and 9 pm Central Time. And that's how you set up card account alerts.
